In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Bryggan's goalkeeper Ingemar Stenquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Fredric Hylander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolf Bratt was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. BK Bryggan's Ingemar Stenquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save BK Bryggan from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in BK Bryggan's zone, Egon Bergman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. BK Bryggan's Ingemar Stenquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save BK Bryggan from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Erik Alebeck made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Fredric Hylander put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rolf Bratt. Egon Bergman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingemar Stenquist having to interfere. If Sture Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Egon Bergman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ingemar Stenquist. BK Bryggan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egon Bergman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Sven-Edvin Andersson charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Edvin Andersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd match minute, Luleå HF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Edvin Andersson to maneuver through the defense. In the last second Rolf Bratt throw himself and got hold of the ball when Erik Alebeck in the 65thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Egon Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fredric Hylander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingemar Stenquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sture Lindberg in the 79th minute of play. Egon Bergman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingemar Stenquist having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Sture Lindberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute Sture Lindberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingemar Stenquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingemar Stenquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sture Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The BK Bryggan players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Luleå HF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
