Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Andreas Kilstedt made the kick off and thus started the match. When Hans Sundberg came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Ekerö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Sundberg couldn't finish the play. Bengt-Arne Gummeson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Pedersson in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match Jan-Ove Deckbergh shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bengt-Arne Gummeson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Karl Pedersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Pedersson in the 23rd minute of play forced Sjömarkens IF's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Ekenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Per-Arne Zachrisson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sjömarkens IF getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Joel Alebeck hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Gustav Ahlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rdth minute of the game Oscar Ekenberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ekerö's Per-Arne Zachrisson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 minutes, Andreas Kilstedt made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ekerö's Per-Arne Zachrisson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 41 minutes, Hans Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ekerö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Sundberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl Pedersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bengt-Arne Gummeson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Sundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Gummeson having to interfere. Karl Pedersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Sjömarkens IF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Hans Sundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Gummeson having to interfere. Joel Alebeck hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Per-Arne Zachrisson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Kilstedt in the 60th minute of play. Karl Pedersson might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bengt-Arne Gummeson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl Pedersson ran back to his position shaking his head. Karl Pedersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Karl Pedersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Karl Pedersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Gummeson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sjömarkens IF's Joel Alebeck got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Joel Alebeck off the ground. In the 73rd match minute, Sjömarkens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Alebeck to maneuver through the defense. Folke Landin, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Oscar Ekenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Arne Zachrisson having to interfere. Karl Pedersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Gummeson having to interfere. After 90 played minutes Sjömarkens IF got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Eklund. If Karl Pedersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ekerö booed when Sjömarkens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petter Blom didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ekerö players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
