Joel Alebeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Patrik Enström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lars FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrik Enström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt-Arne Gummeson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bengt-Arne Gummeson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Magnus Alegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Algot Jönsätt during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Lars FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Algot Jönsätt to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Ekenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Nicklas Vallander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Oscar Ekenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Patrik Enström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Lindgren during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Petter Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas Kilstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicklas Vallander having to interfere. Oscar Ekenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andreas Kilstedt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicklas Vallander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Sjömarkens IF's Bengt-Arne Gummeson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Magnus Alegren in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Andreas Kilstedt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sjömarkens IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Lars FK's Anton Wennerberg got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Sjömarkens IF's Andreas Kilstedt in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lars FK's goalie prevented a goal. Nicklas Vallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Kilstedt in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute Andreas Kilstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicklas Vallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Kilstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Magnus Alegren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bengt-Arne Gummeson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Magnus Alegren in the 53rd minute of the match. If Patrik Enström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The tension between the Sjömarkens IF and the Lars FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Magnus Alegren in the 72nd minute of play forced Sjömarkens IF's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Lars FK's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Kilstedt came free, but Nicklas Vallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt-Arne Gummeson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Enström in the 80th minute of play. If Oscar Ekenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 played minutes Sjömarkens IF got a freekick which was hit by Joel Alebeck. Nicklas Vallander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Ekenberg went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Sjömarkens IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
