Claes Winström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Erik Backman, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Claes Winström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Erik Backman in the 37th minute of play. After 38 minutes, Evert Tomasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pärlan Idrottsklubb and the Sexdrega players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jens-Erik Backman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Winström having to interfere. If Oskar Lidman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sexdrega's Anthon Johnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yngve Mickelsson in the 46th minute of play. Anthon Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yngve Mickelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. In the 50th minute Pärlan Idrottsklubb were awarded a corner. Axel Gerdberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Axel Gerdberg made a great header on Pärlan Idrottsklubb's corner, it was just that Sexdrega's Anthon Johnsson managed to reach the ball for a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Jens-Erik Backman made the kick off in the second half. Pärlan Idrottsklubb's Yngve Mickelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 60 minutes, Yngve Mickelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pärlan Idrottsklubb and the Sexdrega players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute of the match, Yngve Mickelsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anthon Johnsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Dalström in the 66th minute of play forced Pärlan Idrottsklubb's goalkeeper Claes Winström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Dan Hellbom fired a really elegant long shot, but Anthon Johnsson threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Yngve Mickelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthon Johnsson having to interfere. Oskar Lidman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anthon Johnsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Oskar Lidman slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 75th minute. In the 79th play minute Yngve Mickelsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Anthon Johnsson. 0-3. When Sexdrega's Lennart Dalström in 83 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Claes Winström guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 88th minute, Oskar Lidman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Jens-Erik Backman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Winström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pärlan Idrottsklubb had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
