Spectators: 6541 (Terracing: 5541, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tomasz Wojtyna made the kick off and thus started the match. With a little luck, Sahlströms Gossar's Pål Jansson got control of the ball when Christian Widberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pål Jansson was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Bertil Lind capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bertil Lind really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 10th minute, Tomasz Wojtyna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Sahlströms Gossar defense, Christian Widberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pål Jansson. The Sahlströms Gossar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pål Jansson should have stopped the shot. Tomasz Wojtyna was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Örebro SK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Georg Bock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Mossberg in the 21st minute of play. Tomasz Wojtyna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute Albert Mossberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Bock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Juan Carlos Terroba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casimiro Pelayo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Mossberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Örebro SK's Christian Widberg got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 54 played minutes Sahlströms Gossar got a freekick which was hit by Thor Löfskog. Tomasz Wojtyna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thor Löfskog kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Christian Widberg took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pål Jansson. Pål Jansson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Pål Jansson came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Örebro SK's Christian Widberg. But to his dismay, Christian Widberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Tomasz Wojtyna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pål Jansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. If Christian Widberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Sahlströms Gossar:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Örebro SK:s goal. Tomasz Wojtyna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Jansson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sahlströms Gossar's Thor Löfskog got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sahlströms Gossar's goalkeeper Pål Jansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pål Jansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomasz Wojtyna went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Örebro SK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
