Merseyside Saints's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 70 minutes into the match, Christian Widberg notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Merseyside Saints's Stefan Hellgren. Stefan Hellgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Merseyside Saints's Stefan Hellgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Wojtyna in the 84th minute of play. If Tomasz Wojtyna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomasz Wojtyna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 97 minutes, Stefan Hellgren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Örebro SK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
