Spectators: 7238 (Terracing: 5539, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 1) Träslövsläge IK's Johannes Sävström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Sävström in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orvar Söderquist saved Skarpnäcks IK from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Skarpnäcks IK's zone, Johannes Sävström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orvar Söderquist came out of the goal and Johannes Sävström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eddie Sävström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Hedman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eddie Sävström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Hägert in the 28th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Bengt-Rune Hägert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skarpnäcks IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Rune Hägert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddie Sävström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Östen Hedman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eddie Sävström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. When Ludwig Nyberg fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Träslövsläge IK's protests and gave Ludwig Nyberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Träslövsläge IK got a freekick which was hit by Ludwig Nyberg. After a rather tough play, Skarpnäcks IK's Bengt-Rune Hägert got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 40th match minute, Skarpnäcks IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Kielstedt to maneuver through the defense. If Östen Hedman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bengt-Rune Hägert made a kick off. Träslövsläge IK's Eddie Sävström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Träslövsläge IK from getting a goal against them. When Skarpnäcks IK's Östen Hedman in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Träslövsläge IK's goalie prevented a goal. If Urban Jonasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Skarpnäcks IK's Orvar Söderquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Sävström in the 56th minute of play. Skarpnäcks IK's Bengt-Rune Hägert got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ludwig Nyberg came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Träslövsläge IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludwig Nyberg couldn't finish the play. Johannes Sävström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Orvar Söderquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Träslövsläge IK's Urban Jonasson got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Östen Hedmans short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Eddie Sävström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Johannes Sävström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orvar Söderquist having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Skarpnäcks IK's Joakim Kielstedt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eddie Sävström. Eddie Sävström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. The Skarpnäcks IK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
