The supporters of Stenkullen booed when Katrineholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Oskar Lindholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Mats Hellqvist hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Nils-Åke Godholm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anton Simonsson was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. When Jonas Apelkvist was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. In the 87th minute, Stenkullen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aleksander Bergfeldt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 91 minutes into the match, Stenkullen's goalkeeper Anton Simonsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Gudmundsson. Katrineholm played a much better game than Stenkullen and deserved their victory. The Stenkullen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
