Christian Löv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilgot Tunström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Löv was a little too slow when Roy Sundström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 2-0. Johannes Forss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Löv having to interfere. Themans FC's Christian Löv proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Themans FC from getting a goal against them. Johannes Forss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th match minute, Vartofta FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Dahlberg to maneuver through the defense. Christian Löv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilgot Tunström, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Johannes Forss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Löv was a little too slow when Vilgot Tunström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 3-0. Johannes Forss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute Vilgot Tunström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Löv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustaf Sefastsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvin Lagerberg hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Themans FC's Christian Löv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvin Lagerberg in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Johannes Forss ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Löv was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Christian Löv stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johannes Forss's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Vilgot Tunström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Christian Löv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Themans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vilgot Tunström came free, but Christian Löv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vilgot Tunström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaf Sefastsson hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Vilgot Tunström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Löv having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Themans FC's Gustaf Sefastsson got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilgot Tunström in the 95th minute of play forced Themans FC's goalkeeper Christian Löv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vartofta FF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
