Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mårten Tolsson started the match with the kick off. When Hans Jansson fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grusplans Gubbarna!'s protests and gave Hans Jansson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Grusplans Gubbarna! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Jansson to maneuver through the defense. When Junosuando's Mårten Tolsson, in the 7th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Junosuando. Ove Johansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mårten Tolsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Grusplans Gubbarna!'s goal looked a bit too open when Mårten Tolsson came free, but Ove Johansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joseph Hellström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ove Johansson. Grusplans Gubbarna!'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mårten Tolsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mårten Tolsson in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ove Johansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the game, Gustaf Lindström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ove Johansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute, Mårten Tolsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Junosuando fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wictor Nordlander got free with Joakim Sjödin in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rickard Åkerman made a kick off. If Mårten Tolsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mårten Tolsson struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Ove Johansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Junosuando. 62 minutes into the match, Junosuando's Mårten Tolsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ove Johansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Grusplans Gubbarna!'s Ove Johansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mårten Tolsson in the 65th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Rickard Åkerman in the 72nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Wictor Nordlander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Joakim Sjödin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Mårten Tolsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaf Lindström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ove Johansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Ove Johansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mårten Tolsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 89th minute, Wictor Nordlander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joakim Sjödin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. In the 92nd minute, Sören Sjöberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ove Johansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaf Lindström in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Mårten Tolsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
