Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Emanuel Fredriksson got the match started through his kick off. Jesper Bruse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mikael Grönlund having to make a save. In the 8th minute Emanuel Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Isaksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match Kjell-Arne Törnblom shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Birger Isaksson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrik Albohm during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Rickard Tönnberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Grillby BF's Mikael Grönlund didn't even have to move. Emanuel Fredriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Röda Kanonerna defense, Johan Lidberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Birger Isaksson. The Röda Kanonerna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Birger Isaksson should have stopped the shot. Johan Lidberg struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Birger Isaksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grillby BF. 25 minutes into the match, Grillby BF's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Brenner came free, but Mikael Grönlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Jesper Bruse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mikael Grönlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agne Thidén in the 29th minute of play. Einar Hedström charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Einar Hedström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Einar Hedström kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Grillby BF's Emanuel Fredriksson got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 36 played minutes, Röda Kanonerna's Ove Bergdal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mikael Grönlund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Röda Kanonerna reached it. Johan Lidberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39thth minute of the game Emanuel Fredriksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Röda Kanonerna's Birger Isaksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th minute, Johan Lidberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Birger Isaksson, passed just outside the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Elliott Brenner made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Grillby BF booed when Röda Kanonerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Bergdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jesper Bruse came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Röda Kanonerna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesper Bruse couldn't finish the play. Mikael Grönlund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elliott Brenner showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 63 minute of play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Röda Kanonerna's goalkeeper Birger Isaksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Johan Lidberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Magnus Kvalfält hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Per-Erik Olsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute Emanuel Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Isaksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Kaxe's late challenge caught a Röda Kanonerna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Kaxe helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Grillby BF getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Christian Kaxe hit a great ball. After 91 minutes of play, Grillby BF's Emanuel Fredriksson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Birger Isaksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johan Lidberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Birger Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grillby BF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
