The De EfterBlivna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carl Markusson should have stopped the shot. Carl Markusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Axelsson in the 14th minute of play. Joacim Asserlindh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Carl Markusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, De EfterBlivna's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Axelsson came free, but Carl Markusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Einar Löfkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronny Albom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Vincent Tillman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Joacim Asserlindh managed to get in a good position for a shot. STRIX IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Joacim Asserlindh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Markusson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isac Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ronny Albom might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vincent Tillman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronny Albom ran back to his position shaking his head. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for STRIX IK! In the 69th minute, Ingemar Larsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vincent Tillman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Albom in the 74th minute of play. Joacim Asserlindh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Markusson having to interfere. Isac Axelsson struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Carl Markusson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STRIX IK. In the 82nd match minute, STRIX IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joacim Asserlindh to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to STRIX IK getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Tobias Andersson hit a great ball. Ingemar Larsson, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Einar Löfkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De EfterBlivna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Einar Löfkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, De EfterBlivna's goalkeeper Carl Markusson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joacim Asserlindh. Einar Löfkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The STRIX IK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing STRIX IK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
