After 13 played minutes Röda Kanonerna got a freekick which was hit by Agne Thidén. Jesper Bruse in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patrik Duset, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 17 played minutes Kimstad got a freekick which was hit by Bo Söderström. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kimstad's goalkeeper Patrik Duset, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jesper Bruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesper Bruse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Patrik Duset made a huge save. In the 25th minute, Elliott Brenner fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jesper Bruse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elliott Brenner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrik Duset read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. With a little luck, Kimstad's Patrik Duset got control of the ball when Jesper Bruse tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Jesper Bruse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrik Duset was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urban Tham was the one to do the kick off. Agne Thidén charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agne Thidén the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56thth minute of the game Jesper Bruse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kimstad's Patrik Duset was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Öberg in the 58th minute of play forced Kimstad's goalkeeper Patrik Duset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrik Duset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Brenner in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Kimstad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urban Tham to maneuver through the defense.
