The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Joacim Asserlindh came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the STRIX IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joacim Asserlindh couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the match, Malte Viklund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vincent Tillman, 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Bergvik IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Axelsson came free, but Carl Frisck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joacim Asserlindh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Carl Frisck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malte Viklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Tillman having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bergvik IFK's Marcus Hedkvist got a free kick in the 18th minute. Joacim Asserlindh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Carl Frisck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Joacim Asserlindh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Carl Frisck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Charles Billström struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Vincent Tillman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bergvik IFK. In the 35th minute Malte Viklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Tillman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Billström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vincent Tillman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Viklund in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isac Axelsson made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, STRIX IK's goal looked a bit too open when Malte Viklund came free, but Vincent Tillman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malte Viklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bergvik IFK's Malte Viklund got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, STRIX IK's Leonard Dahlbom got a free kick in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, STRIX IK's goal looked a bit too open when Malte Viklund came free, but Vincent Tillman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Per-Oskar Gummeson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. STRIX IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bergvik IFK the free kick. Per-Oskar Gummeson hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. If Charles Billström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 78 in the game by Joacim Asserlindh from a close distance when the talented Carl Frisck managed to make a qualified save. Bergvik IFK's players were relieved. With a little luck, Bergvik IFK's Carl Frisck got control of the ball when Joacim Asserlindh tried to sneak it across the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bergvik IFK fully deserved thier win.
