Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) Fors's Ernst Drewitz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Fors getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Leonardo Berglund hit a great ball. Leif Vallmark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Erik Jönsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Bertil Falkrans rounded Fors's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 18 minutes, Brian Carlberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fors and the Ransäter FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Fors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Carlberg to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Ransäter FK's Joar Lindberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some careless play in the Ransäter FK defense, Brian Carlberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Malm. The Ransäter FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Malm should have stopped the shot. If Ernst Drewitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Ransäter FK's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Danielsson came free, but Jan Malm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Jönsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Falkrans in the 33rd minute of play. Carl Danielsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carl Danielsson in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Malm saved Ransäter FK from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, Ransäter FK's Tommy Kilberg got a free kick in the 51st minute. Carl Danielsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Malm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Erik Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Vallmark, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Jan Malm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Drewitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ransäter FK's Jan Malm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Ransäter FK from getting a goal against them. Carl Danielsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute Ernst Drewitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Malm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 70 minutes, Bertil Falkrans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ransäter FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Falkrans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Ransäter FK booed when Fors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Carlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fors's goalkeeper Erik Jönsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ingmar Wiman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Malm having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ransäter FK's Sonny Strömbom got a free kick in the 78th minute. Ransäter FK's Jan Malm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Ransäter FK from getting a goal against them. Leif Vallmark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erik Jönsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. If Carl Danielsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Ransäter FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Linqvist to maneuver through the defense. Sonny Strömbom kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Carl Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Malm having to interfere. Marcus Linqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Linqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ransäter FK getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Marcus Linqvist hit a great ball.
