After 4 played minutes Skog got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Ove Törnblom. When Carl Danielsson came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Fors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Danielsson couldn't finish the play. Ernst Drewitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt-Rune Eklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Carl Danielsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carl Danielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Bengt-Rune Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 minutes of play, Fors's Ernst Drewitz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt-Rune Eklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the match, Carl Danielsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bengt-Rune Eklund. Skog's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carl Danielsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 25th minute Ernst Drewitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Ernst Drewitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 32nd minute of the match Joacim Nyman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erik Jönsson skillfully saved the ball. In the 37th minute Ernst Drewitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Skog's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Danielsson came free, but Bengt-Rune Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Ernst Drewitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl Danielsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Fors booed when Skog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agne Mårtensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bengt-Rune Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Drewitz in the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Ernst Drewitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Rune Eklund having to interfere. After 64 played minutes Fors got a freekick which was hit by Carl Danielsson. In the 67th minute Kjell Alrot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Jönsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eskil Haraldsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Ernst Drewitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bengt-Rune Eklund having to make a save. Eskil Haraldsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Jönsson having to interfere. Victor Säv hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skog's goalkeeper Bengt-Rune Eklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bengt-Rune Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Drewitz in the 80th minute of the match. Bengt-Rune Eklund made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Carl Danielsson sent off a good shot on target. Kennet Björling took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erik Jönsson. Fors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Brian Carlberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When the match was over Fors could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skog throughout the match.
