Albin Hammarbäck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Torgny Lundblad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Målare in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Gustaf Lägdin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albin Hammarbäck. Fränsta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaf Lägdin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Stig Målare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albin Hammarbäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Hedlund in the 47th minute of the match. Walter Hellbom hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustaf Lägdin was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Fränsta defense, Gustaf Lägdin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albin Hammarbäck. The Fränsta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albin Hammarbäck should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, Walter Hellbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Stig Målare came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Fränsta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig Målare couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Tord Giliusson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fränsta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 67 minutes into the game, Gösta Andersson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fränsta's Tord Giliusson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Fränsta's Albin Hammarbäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaf Lägdin in the 71st minute of play. Stig Målare succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 80th playminute. In the 86th minute, Gustaf Lägdin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albin Hammarbäck was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Stig Målare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fränsta's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig Målare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torgny Lundblad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
