In the 3rd minute, Egon Sander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Vemhån RK's Yngve Wester threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Karl-Axel Rolfsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Melker Påk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yngve Wester stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Axel Rolfsson's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Marcus Dahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Sundberg in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Sundberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marcus Dahlberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Melker Påk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Wester having to interfere. Rivierans Guldgossar BK's Harald Wiberg got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torbjörn Sundberg in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Dahlberg saved Vemhån RK from getting behind. Torbjörn Sundberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Dahlberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Harald Wiberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus Dahlberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Melker Påk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Rivierans Guldgossar BK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Mikael Målare hit a great ball. Torbjörn Sundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Rivierans Guldgossar BK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Axel Rolfsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcus Dahlberg made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Harald Wiberg sent off a good shot on target. Karl-Axel Rolfsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Yngve Wester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Rivierans Guldgossar BK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Mikael Målare hit a great ball. Torbjörn Sundberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Torbjörn Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Broberg during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valentin Broberg kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Yngve Wester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melker Påk in the 88th minute of the match. Vemhån RK's Marcus Dahlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Vemhån RK from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rivierans Guldgossar BK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
