Spectators: 6963 (Terracing: 5200, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robert Wållander started the match with the kick off. A hard shot 4 in the game by Robert Wållander from a close distance when the talented Gert Nyqvist managed to make a qualified save. Gällstad-Lundby Boys's players were relieved. With his leg Gert Nyqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Råssnäs IF's Robert Wållander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Kent Vennerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gällstad-Lundby Boys's Gert Nyqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Gällstad-Lundby Boys from getting a goal against them. Gällstad-Lundby Boys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Robert Wållander scored to the left of an out of position Gert Nyqvist, making the score, 2-0. Robert Wållander in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gert Nyqvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Råssnäs IF's Magne Käcker shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gert Nyqvist but with some difficulty. After 29th play minutes Robert Wållander shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Gert Nyqvist and just under the crossbar into goal. 33 minutes into the match, Gällstad-Lundby Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Vennerberg came free, but Gert Nyqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gert Nyqvist came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Råssnäs IF's Robert Wållander. But to his dismay, Robert Wållander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Råssnäs IF's zone, Orvar Fanström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sten Tinglöf came out of the goal and Orvar Fanström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gällstad-Lundby Boys fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 55th minute Kent Vennerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Nyqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gert Nyqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Wållander's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Staffan Sjöberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Nyqvist having to interfere. Gällstad-Lundby Boys's Gert Nyqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Wållander in the 60th minute of play. Gert Nyqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Wållander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Råssnäs IF's Villiam Wallman got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gert Nyqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Råssnäs IF. Dennis Bammerman hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Wållander in the 76th minute of play forced Gällstad-Lundby Boys's goalkeeper Gert Nyqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kent Vennerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Råssnäs IF's goalkeeper Sten Tinglöf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oskar Wennerlund. After 85th play minutes Kent Vennerberg shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Gert Nyqvist and just under the crossbar into goal. Råssnäs IF's Sten Tinglöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Söderman in the 91st minute of play. When Råssnäs IF's Robert Wållander in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gällstad-Lundby Boys's goalie prevented a goal. Robert Wållander took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gert Nyqvist. Gert Nyqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0.
