Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 100) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Borre in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charlie Modig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fullerö IF's Lars Wållander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algot Rang in the 18th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Algot Rang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fullerö IF's Lars Wållander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Fullerö IF defense, Maximilian Ekeroth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lars Wållander. The Fullerö IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars Wållander should have stopped the shot. Martin Påk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Påk hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Algot Rang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Påk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Charlie Modig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Påk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Charlie Modig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Påk to strike the kick off in the second half. Charlie Modig was a little too slow when Martin Påk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Fullerö IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of IFK Göteborg:s goal. The referee gave IFK Göteborg a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jimmie Asklund, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fullerö IF's Lars Wållander. 2-1. 64 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Påk came free, but Charlie Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Martin Påk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Borre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Modig having to interfere. After 68 played minutes IFK Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Bo Lilja. In the 70th minute Martin Påk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Algot Rang in the 71st minute of play forced Fullerö IF's goalkeeper Lars Wållander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. IFK Göteborg's Charlie Modig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save IFK Göteborg from getting a goal against them. Charlie Modig made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Joel Borre sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Påk came free, but Charlie Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Borre got free with Charlie Modig in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Påk in the 85th minute of play forced IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Charlie Modig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th match minute, IFK Göteborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Hjelm to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Charlie Modig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Borre. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evert Hjelm during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lars Wållander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algot Rang in the 95th minute of the match. IFK Göteborg's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
