Torgny Björkqvist made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Ernst Hedström sent off a good shot on target. Ernst Hedströms short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Torgny Björkqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 20 minutes, Ernst Hedström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ljusdal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernst Hedström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Bo Käller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bergshöjden fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Mikaelsson in the 28th minute of play forced Ljusdal's goalkeeper Martin Nordlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torgny Björkqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Knut Ennegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andreas Mikaelsson ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Knut Ennegren made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ernst Hedström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torgny Björkqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Mikaelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Nordlund having to interfere. Ljusdal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andreas Mikaelsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Martin Nordlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the match, Ljusdal's Ernst Hedström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torgny Björkqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andreas Mikaelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Andreas Mikaelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bergshöjden's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Mikaelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Nordlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bo Käller struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Martin Nordlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bergshöjden. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Bergshöjden had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
