When Emil Hansson fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åled IK's protests and gave Emil Hansson a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Söderquist in the 41st minute of play forced Lycksele's goalkeeper Alvin Tingelholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nils Söderquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mattias Örn might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvin Tingelholm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mattias Örn ran back to his position shaking his head.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nils Söderquist made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Lycksele's Mårten Runberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hjalmar Hybbert. That made the score 1-1 after 54 minutes of play. Lycksele were furious when Peter Billock was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Lycksele:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Åled IK:s goal. Tomas Askstedt shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Alvin Tingelholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Örn, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Harry Nyberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 67th playminute. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Mattias Örn sped through Lycksele's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alvin Tingelholm. When Gunnar Viberg came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Lycksele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunnar Viberg couldn't finish the play. After having played for 82 minutes, Mattias Örn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åled IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattias Örn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th match minute, Lycksele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Hylander to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Åled IK's Tomas Askstedt broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Nils Söderquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Viberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalmar Hybbert having to interfere.
