An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Berggren in the 3rd minute of play forced Lycksele's goalkeeper Alvin Tingelholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Einar Tunström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mårten Runberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 played minutes Örebro SK got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ove Källberg. Harry Nyberg charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harry Nyberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Lycksele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. Alvar Tingberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Verner Dalström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alvin Tingelholm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th match minute, Lycksele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Hylander to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Lycksele's goal looked a bit too open when Verner Dalström came free, but Alvin Tingelholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Verner Dalström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvin Tingelholm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Gunnar Viberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Einar Tunström made a huge save. After 41 played minutes Örebro SK got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ove Källberg. If Mårten Runberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mårten Runberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Einar Tunström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mårten Runberg made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Örebro SK's Verner Dalström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvin Tingelholm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Verner Dalström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Örebro SK's goal looked a bit too open when Mårten Runberg came free, but Einar Tunström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnar Viberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Lycksele fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Lycksele's Mårten Runberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lycksele's Alvin Tingelholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvar Tingberg in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Alvar Tingberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvin Tingelholm. The goal made the score 1-2. Verner Dalström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Tingelholm having to interfere. Gunnar Viberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Einar Tunström having to make a save. Alvar Tingberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvin Tingelholm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Alvar Tingberg in the 92nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Alvar Tingberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
