With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Källberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 minutes, Stig Brovall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dannike RK and the Roknäs FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Dannike RK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Stig Brovall hit a great ball. Uno Alströmer charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Roknäs FF booed when Dannike RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Malmström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Stig Brovall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dannike RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig Brovall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Källberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the game, George Wallgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Daniel Källberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that George Wallgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Källberg was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan-Ove Ödmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roknäs FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Ove Ödmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Morgan Dahlqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert Westerberg in the 91st minute of the match. The Dannike RK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dannike RK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
