In the 36thth minute of the game Bertil Söderberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kimstad FF's Ivar Bern was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th minute, Nils Sandström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Nils Sandström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivar Bern. Kimstad FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils Sandström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Måns Fransson to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Kimstad FF's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Sandström came free, but Ivar Bern reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee gave Wilhelm Hjortberg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Wilhelm Hjortberg hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After 98 minutes Kimstad FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lukas Morat who took care of the corner kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
