Örjan Säv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Hedström having to interfere. If Örjan Säv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tage Åström's late challenge caught a Segeltorps IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tage Åström helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Klimpfjäll's Tage Åström got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 22 played minutes, Segeltorps IF's Hugo Westerberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Hedström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Segeltorps IF reached it. After a rather tough play, Klimpfjäll's Leonardo Göransson got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute of the match Peder Blom shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Hedström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Örjan Kaxe got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 1-0 became the score in the 29th minute when Magnus Sundberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Magne Lundhberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Segeltorps IF's goalkeeper Eric Holm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaf Finsberg. In the 42nd minute Magne Lundhberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Hedström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magnus Sundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Eric Holm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hugo Westerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Magne Lundhberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustaf Finsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Eric Holm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Westerberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but David Hedström made a huge save. In the 64th minute, Klimpfjäll's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Magne Lundhberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Örjan Säv managed to get in a good position for a shot. Segeltorps IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Örjan Säv was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Hedström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eric Holm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaf Finsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Klimpfjäll's goal looked a bit too open when Magne Lundhberg came free, but David Hedström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Magnus Sundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Holm having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Magne Lundhberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Hedström. Magne Lundhberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.
