Lars Ersman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Svaneholm's Lars Ersman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Ryberg in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Sven Ryberg made a precise shot to the right of Lars Ersman. Svaneholm's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Åke Östlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svaneholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Åke Östlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Engström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the game, Markus Petersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ödsmåls IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Svaneholm the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ödsmåls IK's Markus Petersson got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 25 played minutes Ödsmåls IK got a freekick which was hit by Markus Petersson. Lars Ersman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Lundgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Sven Ryberg made a precise shot to the right of Lars Ersman. Svaneholm's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 34thth minute of the game Sven Lundgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Svaneholm's Lars Ersman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute Sven Lundgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Ersman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sven Lundgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Ersman was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After the first half Ödsmåls IK were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Sven Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Ersman having to interfere. Ödsmåls IK played a much better game than Svaneholm and deserved their victory. The Svaneholm players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
