Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Niklas Nordgren kicked off to start the match. Patrik Blomquist kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Smygehamn FF's goalkeeper Olov Fredriksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Börje Walmarsson. In the 6th minute, Michael Biörling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Niklas Nordgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Johnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Knoxville Knockers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Smygehamn FF. Karl-Oskar Rydelius stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving David Johnsson. 0-1. If Börje Walmarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Thor Henriksson in the 27th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Börje Walmarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knoxville Knockers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Walmarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Smygehamn FF's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Henriksson came free, but Olov Fredriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard, long distance shot from Börje Walmarsson flew over the goal. Olov Fredriksson made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Börje Walmarsson sent off a good shot on target. Thor Henriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Smygehamn FF's zone, Thor Henriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Fredriksson came out of the goal and Thor Henriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michael Biörlings short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Olov Fredriksson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Knoxville Knockers booed when Smygehamn FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Åman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Börje Walmarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thor Henriksson to make the kick off. Börje Walmarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Olov Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Knoxville Knockers's Börje Walmarsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olov Fredriksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Olov Fredriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Henriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Börje Walmarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 77 played minutes Knoxville Knockers got a freekick which was hit by Michael Biörling. Marcus Vinström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Johnsson having to make a save. Knoxville Knockers were furious when Frank Hult was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 79 minutes into the game, one of Knoxville Knockers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 84th minute Manfred Wallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thor Henriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Fredriksson having to interfere. If Thor Henriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niklas Nordgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Johnsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niklas Nordgren ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Manfred Wallin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knoxville Knockers's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfred Wallin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Fredriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manfred Wallin succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. Knoxville Knockers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
