The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Verner Ström during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Smygehamn FF's Verner Ström got a free kick in the 12th minute. Hugo Juhlin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olov Fredriksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Stig Biörkquist hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Pajala BK's Tobias Axelsson tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Verner Ström hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Oskar Ahlström in the 29th minute of play forced Smygehamn FF's goalkeeper Olov Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olov Fredriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Oskar Ahlström, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Hugo Juhlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Hugo Juhlin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niklas Nordgren was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Per-Oskar Ahlström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olov Fredriksson was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Smygehamn FF were victorious despite being under pressure from Pajala BK for much of the match.
