The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yngve Boström made a kick off. One of Kilsmo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gullringen:s goal. The goalkeeper, Gabriel Granqvist, was totally fooled by Gullringen's Fred Kjellbom, who 91 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Paul Bollström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Gabriel Granqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Gullringen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gullringen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
