Josef Koch struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Jim Qvarnström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tengil FC. Bengt Ekerot's late challenge caught a Tengil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Gustaf Vinström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Josef Koch made a precise shot to the right of Jim Qvarnström. FC Samuelito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 44 played minutes FC Samuelito got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Skålberg. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Bengt-Rune Ingvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Rune Ingvall in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jim Qvarnström saved FC Samuelito from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Rune Ingvall in the 55th minute of play forced FC Samuelito's goalkeeper Jim Qvarnström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt Ekerot kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Jim Qvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Koch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
