Spectators: 6675 (Terracing: 5010, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustaf Vinström started the match with the kick off. Bengt Ekerot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vilhelm Spets scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jim Qvarnström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ingemar Beck's late challenge caught a FK Velez Mostar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingemar Beck helped the player get up and apologised. Ingemar Beck hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Vilhelm Spets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jim Qvarnström came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by FK Velez Mostar's Mattias Haglund. But to his dismay, Mattias Haglund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 25th minute, Vilhelm Spets left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK Velez Mostar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Samuelito's goalkeeper Jim Qvarnström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jim Qvarnström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Haglund in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Samuelito's zone, Vilhelm Spets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jim Qvarnström came out of the goal and Vilhelm Spets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FC Samuelito getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gustaf Vinström hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Vilhelm Spets left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK Velez Mostar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vilhelm Spets made a kick off. Jim Qvarnström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vilhelm Spets in the 53rd minute. When Mattias Haglund came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the FK Velez Mostar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Haglund couldn't finish the play. Vilhelm Spets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vilhelm Spets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jim Qvarnström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vilhelm Spets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Spets cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Jim Qvarnström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vilhelm Spets's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jim Qvarnström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilhelm Spets got free with Jim Qvarnström in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Vilhelm Spets managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Velez Mostar's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilhelm Spets was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jim Qvarnström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Vilhelm Spets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vilhelm Spets was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. FK Velez Mostar's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A hard shot 96 in the game by Vilhelm Spets from a close distance when the talented Jim Qvarnström managed to make a qualified save. FC Samuelito's players were relieved. FK Velez Mostar's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
