When Bertil Stenqvist fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porokara United's protests and gave Bertil Stenqvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Porokara United got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Stenqvist. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ragnar Bocklund got free with Bo Hedström in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Porokara United's Bo Hedström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Porokara United from getting a goal against them. After 37 played minutes, Porokara United's Bertil Stenqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Åke Classon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Porokara United reached it. The Porokara United fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Porokara United's Hampus Söderqwist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 44th minute of the match Anton Vallengren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Åke Classon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Hampus Söderqwist in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Åke Classon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bo Hedström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragnar Bocklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Hampus Söderqwist put it in 2-5 from a short distance just to the right of Åke Classon. After 68 played minutes Jonsered got a freekick which was hit by Allan Hellkvist. Åke Classon was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Hampus Söderqwist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hampus Söderqwist really showed his touch with that goal: 2-6. Porokara United's Bo Hedström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Vesterberg in the 76th minute of play. Åke Classon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hampus Söderqwist, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Hampus Söderqwist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Classon having to interfere. Hampus Söderqwist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Birger Knutsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Åke Classon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Porokara United's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Säfström came free, but Bo Hedström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Porokara United defense, Ragnar Bocklund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bo Hedström. The Porokara United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bo Hedström should have stopped the shot. In the 98th minute of the match Jerry Wennerqvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bo Hedström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Porokara United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
