Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Michel Enegren started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rutger Wik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Lundin in the 5th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Måns Stephansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hyssna IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Måns Stephansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sivert Vennerlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rutger Wik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Hyssna IK's Michael Qvalfeldt got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 17th minute Michel Enegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rutger Wik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rutger Wik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torbjörn Lundin went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Rutger Wik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Enegren in the 22nd minute of play. If Östen Salkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Hyssna IK defense, Hans Törnkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rutger Wik. The Hyssna IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rutger Wik should have stopped the shot. In the 57th match minute, Hyssna IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Måns Stephansson to maneuver through the defense. Robin Sjöberg hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Hyssna IK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Torbjörn Lundin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 68 minutes, Einar Jansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GAIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Einar Jansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hans Törnkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Einar Jansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Rutger Wik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Einar Jansson got free with Rutger Wik in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hans Törnkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
