In the 4th minute, Kjell-Arne Ånger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, GAIS's Einar Jansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vilhelm Nordström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Glory Hunters getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Mikael Torstensson hit a great ball. In the 13th minute Michel Enegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilhelm Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Enegren in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, GAIS's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Njurenius came free, but Sivert Vennerlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Glory Hunters's goalkeeper Vilhelm Nordström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st match minute, Glory Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Torstensson to maneuver through the defense. If Michel Enegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Enegren in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vilhelm Nordström saved Glory Hunters from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Glory Hunters's Kjell-Arne Ånger got a free kick in the 30th minute. GAIS's Michel Enegren got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mikael Torstensson hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Michel Enegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Lundin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GAIS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glory Hunters the free kick. In the 40th match minute, GAIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Lundin to maneuver through the defense. Vilhelm Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Enegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Michel Enegren made the kick off in the second half. When Torbjörn Lundin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. Torbjörn Lundin hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 60thth minute of the game Elliott Njurenius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GAIS's Sivert Vennerlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, GAIS's Einar Jansson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Sivert Vennerlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Billvall in the 66th minute of the match. After 66 minutes, Mikael Torstensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glory Hunters and the GAIS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of GAIS booed when Glory Hunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Torstensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Einar Jansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Vilhelm Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 minutes, August Rosen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glory Hunters and the GAIS players grew even worse after the yellow card. August Rosen kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Elliott Njurenius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sivert Vennerlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Einar Jansson got free with Vilhelm Nordström in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michel Enegren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
