Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Åke Sandberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Nävlinge got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Göransson. If Åke Sandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Charlie Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silverdalen IF's Joachim Kellberg got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joachim Kellberg struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Joakim Sandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silverdalen IF. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nävlinge's goalkeeper Joakim Sandberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christian Salkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Evert Bern tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joakim Sandberg made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Joachim Kellberg sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, Nävlinge's goalkeeper Joakim Sandberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joachim Kellberg. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Christian Salkvist put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Evert Bern. Joachim Kellberg's late challenge caught a Nävlinge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joachim Kellberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Silverdalen IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Kellberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd match minute, Nävlinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Rune Kellbom to maneuver through the defense. When Åke Sandberg came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Silverdalen IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Åke Sandberg couldn't finish the play. If Christian Salkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evert Bern made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Salkvist in the 39th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Silverdalen IF got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Falck. If Joachim Kellberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven Norberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Silverdalen IF's Knut Blomqvist seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Knut Blomqvist the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Silverdalen IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Knut Blomqvist had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 51st minute, one of Silverdalen IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Silverdalen IF. In the 54th minute, Nävlinge got a penalty, and Ragnar Högman placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Nävlinge's Joakim Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Kellberg in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Silverdalen IF's goalkeeper Evert Bern, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tage Öberg during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 63 minutes into the game, one of Nävlinge:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Claes Alström placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Kellberg in the 67th minute of play forced Nävlinge's goalkeeper Joakim Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Joachim Kellberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joakim Sandberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 77 minutes into the match, Joachim Kellberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joakim Sandberg. Nävlinge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joachim Kellberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 81 minutes into the match, Henrik Falck notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Nävlinge's Joakim Sandberg. Joakim Sandberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrik Falck during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joachim Kellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Kellberg in the 93rd minute of play forced Nävlinge's goalkeeper Joakim Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ted Eliasson came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Silverdalen IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ted Eliasson couldn't finish the play. Joakim Sandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Kellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silverdalen IF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nävlinge for a fine match.
