Transtrand IFK's Åke Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henning Österlund in the 6th minute of play. Transtrand IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rasmus Eriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gunnar Häll charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gunnar Häll the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Stjärnsund getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gunnar Häll hit a great ball. Stig-Ove Dalman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasmus Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rasmus Eriksson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stig-Ove Dalman. That made the score 3-1 in the 82 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Gösta Blomqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stjärnsund's supporters rose to their feet, but Gösta Blomqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Åke Jansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Transtrand IFK's Ralf Byström got a free kick in the 95th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Transtrand IFK's zone, Henning Österlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åke Jansson came out of the goal and Henning Österlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
