In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Jollen FC's goalkeeper Åke Bivall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Gösta Blomqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stjärnsund fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gunnar Häll hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Gösta Blomqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Bivall having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Henning Österlund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stjärnsund fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Martinsson in the 42nd minute of play forced Stjärnsund's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Dalman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henning Österlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Aaron Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Urban Ström came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Jollen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urban Ström couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Jönsson kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Gösta Blomqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Urban Ström might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stig-Ove Dalman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urban Ström ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th match minute, Stjärnsund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Alebäck to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute of the match Folke Björklund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stig-Ove Dalman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Stig-Ove Dalman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urban Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Urban Ström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Stig-Ove Dalman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Henning Österlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Bivall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Stjärnsund's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Martinsson came free, but Stig-Ove Dalman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gösta Blomqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Åke Bivall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Stjärnsund's Gunnar Häll got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Gunnar Häll off the ground. A collision led to Stjärnsund getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Gunnar Häll hit a great ball. Folke Björklund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stig-Ove Dalman. Stjärnsund's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 83rd minute Gösta Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Bivall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gösta Blomqvist came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Stjärnsund fans jumped to their feet.
