After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Håkan Björnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. When Erik Tingberg fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vidsel FK's protests and gave Erik Tingberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for The Disco Boys United. Sven-Åke Bäckström stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rudolf Kjellqvist. 0-1. Rudolf Kjellqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Björnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, The Disco Boys United's Håkan Björnsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rudolf Kjellqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 24 minutes, Ingemar Stålman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Disco Boys United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingemar Stålman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Håkan Björnsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rudolf Kjellqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Disco Boys United's Edward Wallin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save The Disco Boys United from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute, Birger Kellman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Jan-Erik Vassenius took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Edward Wallin to make any attempt to save it. Rudolf Kjellqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Håkan Björnsson went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dick Bratt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 59 minutes, Tobias Bark mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vidsel FK and the The Disco Boys United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ingemar Stålman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Rudolf Kjellqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudolf Kjellqvist was a little too slow when Håkan Björnsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 1-4. Edward Wallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Bratt in the 68th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Åke Örnberg during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to The Disco Boys United getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jan-Åke Örnberg hit a great ball. Dick Bratt struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Edward Wallin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vidsel FK. After 71 minutes of play, The Disco Boys United's Ingemar Stålman made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rudolf Kjellqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Vidsel FK getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Rune Mårtensson hit a great ball. The supporters of The Disco Boys United booed when Vidsel FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Tingberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudolf Kjellqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Björnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rune Mårtensson charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rune Mårtensson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rune Mårtensson hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, The Disco Boys United's Sven-Åke Bäckström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Erik Vassenius in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edward Wallin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Håkan Björnsson in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rudolf Kjellqvist saved Vidsel FK from getting behind. If Ingemar Stålman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Håkan Björnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rudolf Kjellqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Ingemar Stålman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rudolf Kjellqvist, passed just outside the right post. The Vidsel FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. The Disco Boys United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
