Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gustaf Winström took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Gustaf Winström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hjälteby IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaf Winström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carl Malm's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Folke Bern skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Folke Bern showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaf Winström, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Viktor Finnman came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Kälarne IF's Jörgen Biörkman. But to his dismay, Jörgen Biörkman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gustaf Winström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Folke Bern tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Kälarne IF's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Winström came free, but Folke Bern reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaf Winström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Folke Bern having to make a save. Carl Malms short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Folke Bern to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Folke Bern showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Winström in the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to Hjälteby IK getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Sakarias Emander hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carl Malm got free with Folke Bern in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Hjälteby IK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kälarne IF were winning 0-1.

53 minutes into the game, Roger Brander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hjälteby IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kälarne IF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hjälteby IK's Roger Brander got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Gustaf Winström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Bern having to interfere. Kälarne IF's Martin Melin got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Hjälteby IK's zone, Jörgen Biörkman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Finnman came out of the goal and Jörgen Biörkman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Hjälteby IK's Viktor Finnman got control of the ball when Martin Melin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute, Gustaf Winström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hjälteby IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Jörgen Biörkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Finnman having to interfere. Kälarne IF's Folke Bern played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Malm in the 88th minute of play. There was no doubt that Hjälteby IK were the better team. Hjälteby IK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
