Sven-Edvin Asmundsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Karl-Ove Engström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Odén having to interfere. In the 19th minute Karl-Ove Engström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Odén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christer Sjöström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Edvin Asmundsson having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Lagan BF's Gunnar Almkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Michael Häll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunnar Almkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven-Edvin Asmundsson having to make a save. With a little luck, Bro IFK's Sven-Edvin Asmundsson got control of the ball when Gunnar Almkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Karl-Ove Engström came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Bro IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Ove Engström couldn't finish the play. Michael Häll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Odén having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michael Häll to make the kick off. Anthon Alegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Sven-Edvin Asmundsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Magnusson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Richard Odén. Lagan BF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Lagan BF's goalkeeper Richard Odén had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Ove Engström. Östen Pihlwall's late challenge caught a Bro IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Östen Pihlwall helped the player get up and apologised. Christer Sjöström kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. David Magnusson, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Lagan BF's Richard Odén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Häll in the 70th minute of play. Sven-Edvin Asmundsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Almkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anthon Alegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gunnar Almkvist came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Lagan BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunnar Almkvist couldn't finish the play. Bro IFK's Sven-Edvin Asmundsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Alegren in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Christer Sjöström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Häll succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1.
