After a rather tough play, The Kings's Timmy Bark got a free kick in the 13th minute. Andy Björklund kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Sunnemo FF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kurt Martinsson in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the game, Eric Sundström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sunnemo FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Kings the free kick. Adrian Billström struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Aleksander Söderlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Kings. In the 37th minute, Peter Löv fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Karl-Oskar Bolin might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ralf Nyman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Oskar Bolin ran back to his position shaking his head. Peter Löv who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Ralf Nyman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ralf Nyman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Bolin in the 44th minute of play. The Kings's Ralf Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Oskar Bolin in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Oskar Bolin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ulf Carlsson came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Sunnemo FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulf Carlsson couldn't finish the play. Peter Löv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ralf Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aleksander Söderlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pål Bergdal in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Sunnemo FF's Peter Löv nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ralf Nyman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The supporters of Sunnemo FF booed when The Kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kåre Wållander didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the The Kings defense, Karl-Oskar Bolin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ralf Nyman. The The Kings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ralf Nyman should have stopped the shot. After having played for 85 minutes, Karl-Oskar Bolin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sunnemo FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Oskar Bolin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peter Löv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Nyman having to interfere. Aleksander Söderlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pål Bergdal in the 89th minute of play. Ralf Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Oskar Bolin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Löv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sunnemo FF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
