Spectators: 7318 (Terracing: 5490, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 145) Fredrik Stålberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Christian Sundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Midway Predators's zone, Bengt-Rune Wassenius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alf Ahlquist came out of the goal and Bengt-Rune Wassenius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute of the match Karl-Erik Hård sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alf Ahlquist skillfully saved the ball. Alf Ahlquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Lindberg in the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Midway Predators's Fredrik Stålberg got a free kick in the 9th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Hakkas's Lars Lindberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alf Ahlquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christian Sundberg lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hakkas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Fredrik Stålberg took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Fredrik Henriksson to make any attempt to save it. In the 19th minute, Tony Dahlkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes Hakkas got a freekick which was hit by Ingmar Sörman. Allan Holmberg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Karl-Erik Hård hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Hakkas's goalkeeper Fredrik Henriksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaf Kilberg. Hakkas's Karl-Erik Hård got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bengt-Rune Wassenius, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 39 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alf Ahlquist was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Midway Predators's goalkeeper Alf Ahlquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 45thth minute of the game Bengt-Rune Wassenius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Midway Predators's Alf Ahlquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Bengt-Rune Wassenius made the kick off in the second half. Fredrik Henriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Stålberg in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Bengt-Rune Wassenius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erik Zander charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Zander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute, Erik Zander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bengt-Rune Wassenius came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Hakkas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Rune Wassenius couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Midway Predators booed when Hakkas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Pilberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredrik Henriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Stålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bengt-Rune Wassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Löv during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fredrik Stålberg in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fredrik Henriksson saved Hakkas from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Midway Predators's Gustaf Kilberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fredrik Henriksson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Hakkas's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Stålberg came free, but Fredrik Henriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hakkas's Fredrik Henriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Stålberg in the 80th minute of play. Karl-Erik Hård recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes in the game, Bengt-Rune Wassenius fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alf Ahlquist having to interfere. Fredrik Henriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Stålberg in the 95th minute of play. Midway Predators were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hakkas for a fine match.
