A collision led to Dösjebro IK getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Edvin Borre hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Walter Löfgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 16 minutes, Egon Nordin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dösjebro IK and the Östavall players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ian Rolandsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Nordström having to interfere. Kenny Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Löfgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 43rd match minute, Dösjebro IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Lindberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Walter Löfgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenny Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Olov Johnsson thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Kenny Nordström, a very annoying self made goal in the 53rd minute which led to 1-3. Egon Nordin was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The Dösjebro IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Zebastian Ek struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Kenny Nordström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Östavall. After 97 minutes, Edvin Borre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dösjebro IK and the Östavall players grew even worse after the yellow card. Östavall were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
