The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustav Hjeltman during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Åkersberga's Gustav Hjeltman got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Åkersberga's goalkeeper Georg Göransson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Åkersberga's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Harry Collin was slow to take the kick. During this time Colo Colo's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Colo Colo's Harry Collin to fire away a dangerous shot which Georg Göransson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kjell Botvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Dalström having to interfere. Erland Grelsson took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Dalström. Benjamin Dalström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Kjell Botvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Kjell Botvidsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benjamin Dalström. That made the score 2-0 in the 44 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjell Botvidsson was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henric Ingvall in the 53rd minute of play forced Colo Colo's goalkeeper Benjamin Dalström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colo Colo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kjell Botvidsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 88thth minute of the game Erland Grelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colo Colo's Benjamin Dalström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 88 played minutes Colo Colo got a freekick which was hit by Arne Söderqvist. Colo Colo's Benjamin Dalström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Botvidsson in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Kjell Botvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Dalström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94thth minute of the game Erland Grelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colo Colo's Benjamin Dalström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Åkersberga were the better team. Åkersberga's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
