Kjell Martinsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Svanberg having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Harald Wallman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wiktor Myhr was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jörlanda FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krister Lööf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wiktor Myhr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Wallman, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, BK Fläcken's Harald Wallman got a free kick in the 67th minute. Kent Svanberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krister Lööf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Jörlanda FK's Krister Lööf dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. BK Fläcken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jörlanda FK the free kick. After 96 played minutes BK Fläcken got a freekick which was hit by John Sjöberg. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 98th minute, when Jörlanda FK's Egil Holmberg after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Kent Svanberg in BK Fläcken's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. BK Fläcken succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Jörlanda FK had controlled the match.
