Filipstad's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 14 played minutes Filipstad got a freekick which was hit by Conny Ödman. Sivert Kuse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gustaf Harlén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Sivert Kuse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Busy Boomers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sivert Kuse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Sivert Kuse sped through Filipstad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustaf Harlén. Henrik Hjeltman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gustaf Harlén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Busy Boomers booed when Filipstad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Kellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sivert Kuse in the 46th minute of play forced Filipstad's goalkeeper Gustaf Harlén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conny Ödman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sivert Kuse in the 54th minute of play forced Filipstad's goalkeeper Gustaf Harlén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaf Harlén stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sivert Kuse's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sivert Kuse in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustaf Harlén prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Conny Ödman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gösta Olenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Filipstad's Christopher Hammarberg got a free kick in the 61st minute. Busy Boomers's Tor Käcker got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sivert Kuse in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustaf Harlén saved Filipstad from getting behind. Sivert Kuse had several of the Filipstad's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Gustaf Harlén as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sivert Kuse got free with Gustaf Harlén in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henrik Hjeltman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustaf Harlén made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Leif Jansson sent off a good shot on target. Brian Boklund charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brian Boklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Henrik Hjeltman struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Gustaf Harlén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Busy Boomers. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Gustaf Harlén as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sivert Kuse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lennart Björklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. The Filipstad players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
