Martin Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sandarne booed when Borensberg RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Ove Kielberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 minutes, Bertil Jonsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borensberg RK and the Sandarne players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Borensberg RK's Bertil Jonsson got a free kick in the 21st minute. Martin Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristoffer Andersson in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match, Elias Björkman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jack Stenqvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Petter Bark's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Bergqvist was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Martin Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristoffer Andersson in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Petter Bark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute Kristoffer Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petter Bark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Bergqvist having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristoffer Andersson in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Bergqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jack Stenqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Björkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Bergqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristoffer Andersson in the 53rd minute. If Kristoffer Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristoffer Andersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petter Bark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Bergqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute Petter Bark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petter Bark received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Martin Bergqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Petter Bark slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 70th minute. Jack Stenqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Björkman in the 74th minute of the match. When Gabriel Gerdberg fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sandarne's protests and gave Gabriel Gerdberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Borensberg RK booed when Sandarne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Gerdberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Borensberg RK's goalkeeper Martin Bergqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Petter Bark fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Kristoffer Andersson had several of the Borensberg RK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 91 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Martin Bergqvist as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sandarne's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
