The referee showed Edvard Jelm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edwin Giliusson kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Edvard Jelm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Ryberg having to interfere. If Ulf Bäckström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Söderberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Esbjörn Hjortsberg made a huge save. When Gunnar Torstensson came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Tun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunnar Torstensson couldn't finish the play. Peter Blom kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Aston Villa FC's Jonas Bergqvist got a free kick in the 46th minute. Esbjörn Hjortsberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulf Bäckström's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

If Ulf Bäckström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Ulf Bäckström made a precise shot to the right of Esbjörn Hjortsberg. Aston Villa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Axel Ivarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Esbjörn Hjortsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esbjörn Hjortsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Bäckström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Söderberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Nordlander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stig-Åke Enegren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esbjörn Hjortsberg having to make a save. Esbjörn Hjortsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Bäckström, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Henry Nordlander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Esbjörn Hjortsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esbjörn Hjortsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Bäckström, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Esbjörn Hjortsberg didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Tun's Ulf Bäckström shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Tun's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
