Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leif Nykvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oskarshamns AIK's goalkeeper Leif Nykvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Algot Alefors in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leif Nykvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When Algot Alefors came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Heberg RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Algot Alefors couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven Göransson during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Oskarshamns AIK booed when Heberg RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Göransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Heberg RK were the better team. Heberg RK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
